Marketing Materials and Event for Regional Employment Ontario Service Providers
The Labour Market Group, along with Employment Ontario Service Providers from across Renfrew participated in EXPO 150, a celebration of the County of Renfrew’s 150th Anniversary in June 2011. Promotional materials were created to promote the employment and literacy and upgrading services available regionally for both employers and job seekers.

Effective Customer Service in Retail and Tourism Workshops
The Effective Customer Service Workshops are designed for managers and business owners in the retail and tourism sectors. The workshops will teach employers how to train and motivate their customer service employees to provide excellent service.

Green Jobs Profile
We will be developing a profile of what green jobs could be created if the provincial biomass FIT rate was increased from the current 13 cents per kilowatt hour to roughly 20 cents per kilowatt hour. This profile will be the labour market component of our regional economic development proposal to have FIT rates increased.
