International Literacy Day
A celebration of the programs and services available locally. A series of videos were launched that highlight local organizations offering programs and services in literacy and essential skills upgrading, and employment resources. Guest Speaker Brigid Hayes spoke on lifelong learning.

In a joint project with the County of Renfrew, employers in manufacturing, industrial sectors and healthcare were asked to provide information about current and future skilled worker shortages in both Renfrew and Lanark Counties. From these consultations, the following list of projected skilled trades and in-demand career opportunities was compiled.
